10 Beers in Honor of Beer Can Appreciation Day

National Beer Can Appreciation Day celebrates the day that the first beer went through the canning line in 1935, and things haven't been the same since. In celebration of such an epic accomplishment we put together a list of some awesome canned beers in the market right now.

Canned beers are certainly one of our favorite beer liquid containers here in the Sunshine State due to all the year-round outdoor activities, hanging out poolside, or enjoying a beach day. Not only are they extremely practical for the average outdoorsman, but they also so a pretty great job of preserving the flavor of your beer. 

Here are some great canned brewskis you can pick up today (and every other day for that matter):

1. Uinta Brewing: Pale Ale

This traditional style pale ale has a rich amber color, full malt body and a clean hop finish. 4.0% ABV

 

2. Boulevard Brewing: Tropical Pale Ale

Tropical Pale Ale is exactly what you would expect it to be, a tropical fruity palette pleaser. 4.5% ABV

3. Barley Mow Brewing Co.: Quackalope IPA

Quackalope is an American IPA that combines robust fresh citrus notes, with resiny hop bitterness. 6.8% ABV

 

 4. Founders Brewing: All Day IPA

A great beer for life's simple pleasures. All Day IPA will satisfy your hop craving all while maintaining a beautiful balance and a clean finish. 4.7% ABV

 

5. Oskar Blues: IPA

Hoppy, sweet and a clean malt backbone make up this spot on IPA. 6.43% ABV

 

6. Stiegl: Grapefruit Radler

A mix of Stiegl-Goldbräu and fruit juice and has no artificial sweeteners. The grapefruit juice lends a naturally cloudy apprerance and tangy fruit flavo with a refreshing finish. 2.0% ABV

 

7. Ballast Point: Gruinion Pale Ale

This award-winning hoppy pale ale pairs new hop varities, and lends strong yet balanced summer melon aromas, and herbal flavors, while having a soft caramel malt sweetness. 5.5% ABV

 

8. Cigar City Brewing: Lager

Inspired by the traditional German-style Helles lager. Perfect for Florida hear, it's a beer that's made for drinkin' when it's truly hotter than helles outside. 4.5% ABV

 

9. Avery Brewing: Lilikoi Kepolo 

This witbier features tart Hawaiian passion fruit, in combination with a traditional witbier. 5.60% ABV

 

10. Due South Brewing Co.: Caramel Cream Ale

Caramel Cream Ale showcases caramel notes, a creamy mouthfeel and a hitn of vanilla. 5.0% ABV
