We offer PPO Dental Insurance through Delta Dental, included as part of your dental cost. This plan has no copays or deductibles.
Vision Discount/Reimbursement Plan
If you are enrolled in our medical plans, you are able to take advantage of the Vision Program. These discounts apply to exams as well as to contacts, lenses and frames. Employees can also elect additional coverage through EyeMed Vision Plans for deeper discounting and coverage options.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Our EAP Plan is available to all employees and provides employees and immediate family members with confidential services by professional consultants at no cost. This includes financial, legal and will preparation consultants.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
We offer a company paid short-term disability plan and a voluntary long-term disability plan for employees to elect.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
All employees will receive up to $50,000 of Life Insurance and AD&D coverage provided by the company as well as voluntary term life insurance rates for employees, spouse and child coverage elections.

Paid Time Off
All full-time employees who have completed their 90-day initial employment period are eligible for paid vacation and personal time.

401(k) Plan and Profit Bonus Program
Brown Distributing matches up to $750.00 annually towards employee 401(k) contributions. This annual match is processed each January and is 100% vested.
Employees are automatically enrolled in a profit bonus plan after 3 years of employment. This program provides a bonus payout when profit goals are met. The bonus payout is paid out in two tiers based on years of service. Tier one from 3-9 years of service and Tier two for employees with 10 or more years of service.
Training and Continuing Education
Sales representatives receive training time in each department from operations to sales to ensure a solid business foundation.
Operational employees receive training in various operation roles and cross-training opportunities for areas of interest.
Online training systems are incorporated as part of the new hire training program with classes ranging from job safety to leadership and management skills.
External leadership training is provided through seminars and other consulting services.
Employees also can qualify tuition reimbursement after 1 year of full-time continuous employment with the company.
